Cordoba vs Real Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo Red Card Incident

Madrid - As a result of kicking Cordoba player’s leg incident, Cristiano Ronaldo got a red card from the referee.
Cristiano Ronaldo got a red card after involved a player kicking and hitting to Cordoba’s player.

Ronaldo should be sent off when the game of Cordoba vs Real Madrid was running 82 minutes and the score was still 1-1. The Ballon d'Or 2014 winner kicked Edimar’s leg and hit the face of Jose Angel Crespo. Fortunately, at end of the match Real Madrid won by a score of 2-1.

That incident was the fifth red card obtained by Ronaldo since he joined Madrid in the year 2009. Totally throughout his professional career, he has received nine red cards. Four of ones, he gained while he was becoming Manchester United’s player. (Source: Infostrada)

But the Portuguese national player took to Twitter after the match. He apologize to everybody at Real Madrid and especially to Edimar. “I apologize to everyone and especially Edimar for my thoughtless action in today's game,” the tweet said.

Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti declined to comment on the incident, saying: “I saw nothing. I have not spoken with him. I cannot judge what happened.”
