over Deportivo La Coruna. A 4-0 win over Deportivo made Barcelona clung the top
standings for a while.

Estadio Municipal de Riazor (18/1), Messi only took to open the scoring. He
added the second one in 33rd minutes. A 2-0 advantage over Deportivo survived
until half-time.
The four-times Ballon d’Or winner scored his hat-trick after the game run 62 minutes. The last goal was created by Sidnei whom made own goal.
In that match, Messi be man of the match. With the addition of 3 points, Blaugrana only left 1 point behind Real Madrid, which still keeps one match delay.
